I am looking for the best protection that wont slow down my computer when its doing its scan. Which one of these have you guys used and what do you think of it?

I have both running on my system now and Zone Alarm detected a virus 2 seconds faster than NOD 32.

Has anyone one else tested these to or any 2 security system together?

i have always wondered why those people who claim that aliens repeatedly abduct them don’t invest in a video surveillance camera and set it up in their bedroom. that way they could capture it on camera and then they could prove it was real or prove it was all in their heads. that way they would know and so would everyone else. why has this never been done????

Here’s how I define good. It should do a good job filtering out viruses, spyware and warning me of malicious sites. It should be simple to use and not be a resource hog. It should be affordable.

I need a new watch, I’ve had this Timex Ironman watch for about 4 years and it’s falling apart. Since I literally wear my watch everywhere, I would like one that actually looks like a nicer watch, or at least nicer than a plastic ironman sports watch. the thing is, since I’ve had this watch for so long, i’ve really gotten used to the features and come to rely on them. so my question is … is it possible for me to get a watch that’s water resistant, has an alarm, has the day/date and still looks like an everyday watch I can where everywhere? and if so, where could I get one? Is there a fast way to record them in DVD format? What’s the easiest way to scan through a particular time of the day/date you wish to record in DVD format?

It is a 2000 Honda Accord and my alarm just started acting funky. When I push the button that usually locks and arms the car, it will just lock it but not give off the beep beep sound that assures its activated. And when I try to open the door, the alarm does not go off. The light in the front that shows when it is armed is lite but the alarm is still not sounding….Please only answer if you know. Thanks

We recently purchased a home with an ADT security system already installed. If we are able to get the code from the previous owners, are we able to use the system without purchasing their monitoring service?

If we can’t get the code from the previous owners, is there a way to reset the system to factory settings so that we can set our own code?

What free program is best to use to backup computer data?

I am looking for a third party firewall that offers solid protection & is user friendly, light on resources, etc.

My only hesitation is since I’m not very familiar with computers outside surfing the web, e-mail, basic programs, etc, I’m afraid that I will give access to bad "people" and programs. Like for instance, on the Zone Alarm and I’m sure other firewalls, the pop ups come up to ask if you want to accept or deny access. If they randomly come up, how do I be positive that the program is safe? If I said "ok" by accident, it’s then possible for pretty bad things to happen to my computer, correct?

Any input for a beginner would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you can suggest a user friendly, solid firewall that’s light on resources that would be great.

It happened to me and I’m mystified! I understand how a CD can be repackaged to look original, but how could it be done with a NEW SECURITY STRIP replaced on the edge? Or must it have been done by someone at the factory?

Do I need to update the immunization data base if I am only running it as an on demand scanner and if I’m not using the teatimer function? I don’t want SpyBot S&D to be my active antispyware. Can I not use the browser integration updates if, again, I’m not using it as my realtime protection?

So i’ve heard a rumor that drinking lots of water before you go to bed helps you wake early the next morning. Now i heard its bad to eat or drink a lot before but my friend just chug a whole water bottle and claims he woke up like 5AM the next morning fine and ready for school. Any thoughts? or other ways to help me get up early? (besides alarm clock)
