Good day, is there anyway i can speed up Zone Alarm Security suite at startup? It slows down my system startup but after it loads etc, things are back to normal. Laterz.

It was on FX on thursday and ended around 7pm central time. It had an invisble guy killing people in this military base or spaceship or something. At one point he’s chasing a girl but she turns on a fire alarm and water pours down so she can see him and he gets this metal pole and tries to hit a guy but misses and hits an electric box that fries him. I wasn’t watching it too closely but I wanna know what it was because i kinda wanna see it. I looked on imdb under "The Invisble Man" but none of those really looked like it. Does anyone happen to know?

I am installing a security system with a 16 ch DVR card. I found a few cards online within my price range. Could you please explain to me what it means for a 16 ch DVR card to have only 4 real-time channels? Does this mean I can only view 4 cameras at a time? Will all 16 channels be able to record simultaneously? Also what are output channels for? I would assume that only input channels would be able to record information from video surveillance cameras. Is this assumption correct?

Ok. I was on the internet, and all of a sudden a balloon pops up saying ‘your computer is at risk’. it wont let me turn my firewall on or anything .and this thing called security center alert says screeb.grab.j.exe is trying to enter my computer. but my only option is to click activate protection. i dont know what to do. i already have mcfee antivirus. do i have a virus?

What I am looking for is a piece of software that I am able to create a ‘blueprint’ of my home, and add security devices to the ‘map’. Devices such as PIRs, pressure mats, cameras, and magnetic door sensors. I wish for the software to do a few things;

1. Alert and display when a device is activated.
2. Record a certain camera when a specific device is activated (E.G. Porch camera records if porch door sensor activated)
3. Send an email if a device is activated.

I would ideally like this as PC software, and I understand that there will be some hardware involved. Any names or links would be brilliant.

I am a carer (H.C.A Level 3) Huntingtons disease. Elderly gentleman abused badly by son. Police cant do anything as the 90 year old will not ‘tell on him’… when the police leave the poor man is bullied even more. Family (daughter) not interested as she doesnt want the son (brother) living with her… passing the buck? I am periodically ‘bullied’ as I report/log incidents - but even Social Services wont do anything - meetings bring about no ‘action’. Its getting worse and the abuse is progressibely getting worse as well. A knife was ‘waved’ in front of the 90 year old man - can I get SOME help from someone here? I also need a UNION of some sort to back me up - can I ‘record or tape’ any of this? Data Protection act 1997? hmmm… tricky one. I have come to my wits end. I need secret cameras showing this guy pushing/pulling/yanking his dad - and then acting all sweet and innocent and ‘wide eyed’ when the police arrive..and then ‘I’ am over reacting? Agency not any help either.

i need to take urgent backup from a accounting software -tally 4.5 , but it ony writes backups on floppies , the path cannot be changed , its fixed i.e a:. also tally 4.5 runs only on dos or win98.!Is there is a way to fake a floppy drive so that software writes on the hdd . my backup data is of around 35 mb.please help me .

I need to describe any entry points(physical or data transmission related, or any situations that may constitute a security risks, also how can I better train the employees to understand network security.
