I already have an alarm system at home. Should I still install a home security camera?

I put the key in the lock to unlock the car and the alarm went off.It stopped after a while and i tried the key in the ignition and alarm went off again,opened the hood and the alarm went off yet again! can I disarm the car alarm(its stock/factory no remote)and still start the car?

I’ve been reading the “Rain” series of contemporary fiction novels, and Rain (an assassin) has a detector he keeps in his pocket that “detects” some kind of wave length (side-band? or similar I think it was called) that video camera’s produce. The detector also detects audio surveillance. The author never differentiates between wireless and hard-wired devices, this little thing picks up everything within about 10 meters or so if I recall correctly.

I’m just wondering if that is actually possible or if it is literary license. If it is possible, how?

I tried to uninstall everything and was successful until i got to Norton internet security file and i can't remove it. Also the icon is gone so I can't get the Norton Removal Tool.

My personal check was returned to a stranger. He now has my DL#, account and routing number. I want to sue this bank because I live now in fear, that my live could be financially ruined.

He is a neighbor in my apt. building.

I have looked through quite a few sources, but none state a minimum age to sign a DPA.

On the place that I would need a DPA for, if a person is under 18, their parents may sign it for them.

Is there any age limit for that?

I currently use AOL but feel that the software overhead with their security is slowing my computer down measuably. I want most efficient security!

I have a new Home Security Motion Detector that I plan to install in my driveway. The detector has white/black wires, but I only have a regular electric outlet that I can get power from. Is there a way to install it using my outlet ?

I have a new home that I would like to purchase a security system for; however, I was looking for some personal experience feedback from folks. What is the most reasonable place? What warning signs are there to look for? Is wireless better or worse? In the base package for a company, does it include sensors for all windows and doors or do they ‘trick’ you and it’s extra?

I need detailed info about backup media, backup strategies, software, etc. for my studies. I’m especially interested in some historical or scientific researches and reviews on this topic. Could you please advice some good sites or books.

Alarm goes on as soon as I try and give it throttle and will not shut off until I turn the key off. It is a steady alarm. Water circulation looks very good. What all does the alarm cover?

No monitoring system. What do you think of this plan? I mainly want to know how well the glass break detectors work.

Which one is more practical? I am looking for a package that I will be able to install on our 3 computers…..for under .00 hopefully. I have been looking on eBay and found some Norton software fairly cheap, but I don’t know the difference between Norton Antivirus and Norton Internet Security.
