I am looking for a video camera that i can install in my car sorta like what the police have in there vehicles ..i want it to be like a small spy camera thats not too expensive .. I appreciate your answers have a blessed day ~ Peace

I am looking at deterent as much as an active system, but sound and flashy light and motion sensors are goood to have!

I do realize it is up to the resolution and other small details which make a difference. But I was generally needing to know!

I will be getting one (viper) that has everything. I have an electrician whose doing the install. Does it need to be programmed?

My kid did something on my Honda Odyssey and the burglar alarm went off. How do I stop it now? The remote is at home and I'm at a friend's house and used a spare key with no remote. Whatever I do on the car, like opening a door, triggers the alarm. Once it starts, it continues doing its thing with various tones for about 5 minutes til it stops. But again the slightest move I make starts another set of playing beeps in length. Very embarrassing. Can somebody help!

When running the engine at 1/2 throttle the motor sounds as if it's lugging, and then the alarm sounds. I shut down, but when I turn the key back on the alarm is still there for only about 5 min. then ok. I pulled the water pump and it looks brand new. Less than 100hrs on engine. Can I troubleshoot out of water? Or do I have to wait until alarm sounds?

What is the code? Can you please help me?

Dim conn As New SqlCeConnection()

Private Sub ComboBox1_SelectedIndexChanged(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles ComboBox1.SelectedIndexChanged

conn.ConnectionString = "Persist Security Info = False; Data Source = 'MobileSQLTest1.sdf';" & "Password = '<password>'; File Mode = 'shared read'; "

What is wrong with this code? The error says it has Invalid Pathname.

Obviously smoke alarms.. but what about carbon minoxide andt things like that.

I ve tried everything..giving yahoo server rights, all access et all,but it wont connect.Msn Msgnr is working,so is skype, but not yahoo.
Now the strange part is when the firwall and progarm controll is off, yahoo still wont connect.Only if ZA is shutdown will yahoo work. What gives?

I had a cash deposit appear in my bank account a day ago and inquired at the bank about the trans. They gave me copies of slips and information pertaining to the transaction that occurred. They confirmed that a person came into the bank with cash and made a deposit. Unfortunately I still cannot figure out who made this deposit and depending on the outcome it could lead to a can of worms for my bosses wife…. I asked if I could see the surveillance video but was informed that I would have to have a court order. I would like to figure this out the simplest and cheapest way possible what else should I do and how or where do I get a court order. Im in Atlanta GA

I had a contract with a home security company, well the alarm would not stop beep beep beeping and I called them, they said would send some one out and he and I played phone tag 2 months went by no alarm( i unplugged it) went to bank and stopped the payments from being taken out. Now said Co. is calliing wanting money……. I feel they were in the wrong not me! How do I handle this ?

i search on google using a keyword. many results come up on the screan. when i click on any of the results an annoying pop up opens instead of that result link…….few of the pop up’s URLs are : www.stopzilla.com, 66.154.9.30, 64.111.196.117, www.craftsman-info, http://team-circumstance.info………all these urls and ip address show up in the status bar so fast……and then one random link opens up….it is happening both in mozilla firefox and IE-7….i read online that it is spyware/malware problem…..so i downloaded and installed HiJackThis malware software from download.com…..it worked but disabled my norton internet security…i had to reinstall internet security and now the problem is back……when i run any antispyware software it gives me a million defected files……can someone help me please? i have loads of my school projects’ data on my laptop and dont want to loose all of it by doing something stupid. thanks in advance

It came with a 1997 BMW Z3 that I recently bought. I am assuming the alarm was installed by the first owner (unknown) which makes the alarm about 10 years old as well. Can't find the control unit, the cutoff swicth, and the valet light is always lit. Keyless won't work either. Looking for a reset button somewhere.
I was told that it is stuck in valet mode and before I replace it I would like to try a reset. I ave already diconnected the battery from the positive cable and left it off for two hours hoping that would reset it… Nope.

Assuming one shelf of 14 drives (12 active, 2 spare). Will use RAID 1+0 for performance and data protection.

If two databases are going to be fairly heavy with mixed reads and writes, is creating two pools of 6 drives better than one pool of 12 drives?
This isn't like a server where you can potentially choose a variety of I/O controllers for the SCSI interface. This is a SAN system and the SCSI I/O interface is the one they give you.

The disks are all 300 gb 10k RPM HP u320 scsi drives.

Assuming equal work loads of activity on the two active databases, it would seem there would be benefit to having them split across two different arrays. If the work loads were not identical, and possibly had minimal overlap, then I can see how all disks in one array would be beneficial.

I was hoping to find more about mixed loads, where there are periods of extended high levels activity on one of the databases, during which there would be shorter periods of high levels of activity on the other database hitting at the same time.

Ideally I'd have more than one shelf on the SAN and split data loads across shelves and I/O modules, but that's not an option at the moment. I'm trying to come up with the most efficient use of what is available.

Ideas?

The House rejected a bipartisan investigation Pelosi/CIA to see
which one lied - it would cost too much.
But Congress has no problem investigating baseball/steroids at a cost of nearly million (2007 data number as I can't find any newer)

So which is more important to you? Thoughts - Opinions

I need to transfer data from two locations that are not connected to any network. The transfer is currently done via an untrusted carrier. The process is:
1.A trusted person from the source's side encrypts the data using a public key.
2.The encrypted data is copied by the trusted source on a CD, then left at the reception.
3.The CD is given to an untrusted carrier, who delivers it to the destination.
4.The destination decrypts the content of the CD, store its contents securely, and physically destruct the CD.
The data is of high security nature. We'd like to employ WORO technology (if that exists), so that:
1.the data can only be copied back on a specific computer at the destination's side, not on the courier's PC for example (even if encrypted).
2.The media can only be read once,so it automatically destructs when read. this way,if the legitimate destination can't read the CD contents, this'll prove data has already been copied to another PC, and security actions will then be triggered.
I came across this: http://www.freshpatents.com/Read-once-record-medium-dt20070802ptan20070177490.php
a patent describing a "Read-once record medium invention", but I can't find any application (Software Hardware Combination) that uses that technology.
