A pamphlet from my local Apocolyptic Event Repsonse Team tells me that "Homeland Security Starts at Home". It told me to stock up on batteries, non-parishable foods, flashlights and numerous behind the counter cold medicines that I’m sure stocking up on will place me on a DEA watchlist. In addition it told me all about bio, chemcial and raidological terrorism and how to react.

So how have you Homeland Secured you home?

I’ve got a good mix of allready parished and non-parishable food, a drawer full of miscelaneous batteries, a few flashlights (one which I can locate) and some herbal teas.

As previously I completed my ACCA, the current job is unrelevant to my practical experience. When I had interview, they told me this job is finance related which may require the finance technical knowledge. I just started on July 2009, should I change my job as I cannot comply the ACCA practical experience requirement?

i have a very hard time falling asleep at night once i go get in bed i am wide awake and my mind goes what feels like 900 mph. i was told to take melatonin but once i do finally fall asleep i have no problem sleeping 8-10 hours sometimes. i also have a6 year old and i am afraid to take it at night because i am scared that i will not hear her or will not wake up to the alarm to get her to school.. anyone have any thoughts or information on what i could do…

something I can host on my own server and have users add or view documents of all types based on privileges. eRooms is a great program but to host it on my server is too expensive right now and I don’t want my data on a remote hosted server for security and performance reasons. anybody have any ideas? they would be greatly appreciated!

Here are the spects of my computer:

Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.60GHz
2.59GHz, 512 MB of RAM

My O.S is: Windows XP Professional Service pack 3

P.S: Will NOT get avg or anyother free anti-virus. Please DO NOT lobby me into doing so.

We have a low batter signal on our home security system, and we can’t figure out how to change the battery and the "headquarters" are closed so we can’t reach anybody tonight. Does anyone know how to do it?

I thought that would breach the data protection act?
She doesn’t work with us. We just teach her son.

the remote brand is ungo, however i cannot find the model number for the alarm itself, it is either not on there or on the bottom or wore off…it is a ‘97 bmw 328i but i assume the alarm itself is aftermarket.

Most stores have some sort of security system that involves video surveillance. But is it illegal for the cameras to also be recording audio - and the employees monitoring those cameras thus listening to private conversations? Or are customers foregoing such rights to privacy once they enter the store?

LMAO@ sleepybuckets. Conspiracy theory? THESE ARE FACTS, LINKS SUPPORTING THE FACTS ARE PROVIDED. I guess you and Bill O’Reilly have a lot in common, "I’m not concerned with the facts." Fucking sheep, YOU are what’s wrong with this country. We need to make a small state for all you 33%ers out there. You can sing hymns and shit on each other all day long!
@I don’t know. "Stupid is a liberal does"
Wow, you seem like a smart guy yourself. Did you mess up your little saying? If you read just a little, maybe stop watching the Fox News Channel for just a second, your opinion might matter. You my friend, are a moron.

Some months ago, I bought, intalled then disinstalled Zone Alarm because it slows down so much my computer. Now, fearing viruses, I re-installed it again. What a pain? Everything takes ages before popping-up. Is it normal to get slow down with anti-virus, firewall and other protective software? Is Zone Alarm worst than McAfee and Norton for that matter? (slowwww)

I currently install security camera, but I need to find a school to get my certificate, degree or whateva.
I also lay tile, I need to find a school that i can go to for this also.
By the way I live in New York. (Brooklyn)

Have Omega #FREE500 car alarm system. Audio sound has stopped working. The lights still flash normally when alarm is tripped, just no sound. Battery in car is brand new-1 week old. Problem started months ago and little by little the audible got weaker and weaker and now has stopped. I have no instructions as I bought the vehicle used and the alarm came installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know Windows Vista and some defragging programs like Diskeeper 2008 defrags in the background at all time while you work to keep file access times at optimum speed.

If you get a power outage though and you have no backup power source, I would imagine there is a high risk for data loss? Am I right? Or are they programmed to prevent that?
