I think I may have a virus. My computer security is not working anymore. All I get is an error message. It says something about the objlib.dll file. I was wondering do I delete the file so my computer works again or is it something I need? Thanks in advance for your help.

I plan to buy it when it’s back in stock. The cost is ,299.99, which is in my budget, but is it worth the price?

This guy I know has a 1993 Toyota Camry. He deployed to Iraq; the person watching the car didn’t run it because she was disgusted with the interior and the battery drained completely. She bought a new battery, but when she tries to connect it, the aftermarket car alarm goes off. We tried switching off the only switch in the car, but that didn’t work. The alarm system seems to be an Audiovox APS200 for which we have no manual. If anyone can tell me how to deactivate the alarm so that we can get the battery attached, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

Whenever i click on fix now it says failed to initialize norton live update. It says that i need these definition updates because i may be more vulnerable to viruses. i have 289 days of subscription left. I need answers from those who know what they are talking about. Thank you

Okay so I accidently left my diaper bag in the parking lot at Walmart and it had my wallet in it. After I realized, I went back, looked around and came home and reported my debit/credit card stolen. An hour later walmart called and said someone returned the diaper bag. My wallet was in there but my money and gift cards were gone. I think it was the lady my bro gave a dollar to because she was there when we left but claimed she didnt see the diaper bag and she was acting suspicious. I called the bank and they said after I cancelled the card, someone trired to use it at a gas station. So they should have her on tape there and probably she was the one to turn it in at walmart. My card was in the wallet. I think she figured she couldnt use it so return it.
So how long will walmart and a gas station keep the videos? Also, how do I report this? I went to the police station but it was after hours. Please someone who knows help me.

Hi, so my mom did something really stupid today without thinking. Some weird guy went door to door and was asking people about their security systems and home security. but the way he acted was very suspicious, and my mom told him some dangerous stuff. Whats a way to keep us safe tonight. We have a sliding glass door, windows, and regular doors. please help, we are very worried

It is the same problem as this question, but I have more information and am hoping for some better answers:

Anyways, it started about a week ago, and I’ve had the car for roughly 6 months now (the Ungo system as already installed by the previous owner). I doubt it matters what type of car it is, but just in case, it’s a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant DE. Anyways. Supposedly the car alarm has been prematurely activating when I’m not around (my sister has been home when it goes off, and she says that nobody is even around the car), and has happened around 3-4 times the past two days alone. It’s happened once or twice before this. Now, the car is making a noise kind of like the ones made when the car is turned off, as well as a soft-ish clicking noise.

I don’t have any money, as I don’t have a job due to the economy being so horrible (oh, it’s killing me), and just so happens that everything else is going wrong now that I’m unemployed, heh. But as I don’t have any money, and I didn’t personally get the system installed, I don’t think that Ungo would fix this problem for free, especially when the system worked fine for 6+ months. Any ideas that I might be able to do myself? Otherwise, do you think I would be able to go to my usual mechanic to have him fix it, or does it need to be an Ungo technician (nearest one to me is roughly 2 hours away ><)

I have tried different ones and I heard alot of the good ones are the free ones, I used to like Mcafee a few years back and I have it now but I have gotten all kinds of junk still now with it. It’s pretty useless, So what can I use for my computer that isn’t complicated to use. I want real time virus protection, firewire and everything but that fits a low budget, free or not. I already use Malwarebyte’s to scan but I need something good to stop things before they happen.

MY CAR WAS BROKING INTO NOW i need to reset my alarm.

Im guessing the best way is to use an external hard drive which I do not have. I was going to go for a CD but Im wondering how many Cd’s its going to need because I’m guessing its going to store a hell of a lot of data.

Any help?
Thanks
My OS is windows 7.

Also, should I use a CD or DVD?

I think my cleaner is stealing from me and i want proof, so i was wondering if there was an app for the iPhone thats like a security camera, so I could hide my phone and leave it recording for an hour or so, so i can catch them in the act. Or is there app the feeds live video stream from my iPhone to my computer?

I think it was on a&e, discovery channel, tlc (the learning channel), or some-one of those.

The film crew would put cameras all over the house and the owners would go about their business. One of the ex-burglars would rob the house. The next day the other ex-burglar would show the owners what were the weak points of the house and then they improved the house for free.

I think it was on Discovery Channel or TLC or other. Can anyone tell me what that show was? Thank you.

like when they say if you lock your keys in your car just call your house and have them press the deactivate button while you hold your cell phone up to your car doors does that really work? i’d go outside and try it right now but it’s dark and scary lol

I had a dinner party at PF Changs and realized I didnt have my wristlet (wallet/purse) with me when I went in my car. I went in immediately to look for it and also asked the staff if they saw anything; we found nothing. I later asked about the video surveillance, the supervisor said she could not make out anything from the video and she had to ask her manager if I am allowed to look at it. I am afraid one of the waiters grabbed it when they saw our party leaving.

I’m always reading questions here from people who have lost data to a hard drive failure or accidental deletion, or something else. I always wonder why they don’t have a backup. I can recover any file from one hour ago to three months ago.

According to an online survey done by PC Magazine a couple years ago, about 99% of computer users don’t do backups.

If you are one of those 99%, why?
Boz:
I used Windows at home until 98SE. Now, I use Windows only at work - XP right now. Mac at home with automatic backups.

as me a and my cousin were locking his wii in the lock box, we had to change the code, but it didnt work right and changed it to the wrong code , which we dont know, what i need to know is if there is a code that will always work on this brand, it is a homak home security lock box with 3 digits. PLEASE HELP

Everytime I try to download a program for removal or try to go to a website for help it keeps popping up, therfore blocking me from doing anything to get rid of it!

I am moving into a condo from a house. I used to have my motorcycle safely stashed in the garage at the house, but now it will be out in the open. I use my car to go to work usually so the motorcycle will be left alone during those days. But I am also concerned about it at night. I have seen wheel locks with built in alarms which seem like they would work in conjunction with a heavy chain. There are no light poles or anything sturdy to lock the bike onto, and I think the condo assoc. will make me keep it in a parking slot, so I can’t chain it to a tree on the lawn. Does anyone have any creative solutions? Anyone have experience with LoJack? I will be so bummed out to come home one day to have it gone because a couple of guys lifted it into the back of their truck and took off…

i am going to get a 200gb internal HDD and a western digital 500gb external HDD and wondering if i CAN, and or should, go to a raid config. and or partion either one on them. i am new to this and want long-term data protection foremost!!.., backups(operating system) programs, pics,ect…..i am tired of crashing systems and starting all over. so i want to do this right and take all precautions for this build and get best proformance : …ie: moving swap or paging file and O.S. to different partions.
