I hear that if you use a magnet over the speaker it stops the sound from going off. Is this true…

i juss got a alarm system and i am juss messin around with the lcd remote control. i pushed "AUX" button and the lock button and then the alarm goes off for 2 seconds and then the Full Trigger Shock Sensor Indicator icon shows up on my lcd screen. nothing trigger the alarm and the book doesnt tell u much about it. its the Clarion Ungo SR6000
i pushed "FUNCTION" then "AUX" then the lock button

Well one day I was walking pass a nice little car and the car alarm beeped at me . i didt touch it but everytime you walk pass it it would beep at you . Does any one know what car alarm this is veryy cool i would like one . thanks

When a car alarm goes OFF, it actually turns ON. And it already was ready to go on, so kinda was already ON. But still,it does’nt really work that way so why do ppl sya its goes OFF when it really turnes ON??

i have a CARBINE alarm remote for my 05 nissan altima. recently it has been failing. theres alot of times where it wont unlock the car. i took it to the dealer and they said to get a new battery so i did. but still the same problem, it wont unlock the car. do i need to buy a new remote and get it programmed or what is it? does anyone know what i have to do? ill appreciate any help

My car doesn’t have powerlocks nor a car alarm. I can do without powerlocks but I’d really like to install an alarm system. Anyone have any experiences about installing car alarms? Should I go out and buy a kit or can a mechanic do this for a cheap price?

I have a ‘97 Honda Accord and I just had a Viper Alarm put on it.The alarm I got has a screen that will show me what’s happening if the alarm is going off but it’s kind of pointless if it won’t go off if they use a shaved key right?

I’m confused if a panic feature of a car is the same as having a car alarm.
I know you can use a panic button to stop a would-be thief when you catch the act.
But I want to know if an alarm would sound if I’m not around to stop the theft.
Basically, is a panic feature the same as having a car anti-theft alarm, or is it completely separate?.
