AVG, Kaspersky, Norton or ESET

I am looking for the best protection that wont slow down my computer when its doing its scan. Which one of these have you guys used and what do you think of it?

Is there a fast way to record them in DVD format? What’s the easiest way to scan through a particular time of the day/date you wish to record in DVD format?

I already have a home security system and pay for a service. I would like to purchase some more sensors, etc. to make it a more robust system, but I don’t want to pay the service to come out and do it; as they cost a ton.

If so, do you know a place where I could purchase components?

I was thinking about getting a Mossberg Maverick 88, but I was wondering what are some other types of cheap shotguns that are good. Nothing more than 0 please, also what would be the best type of shotgun round for home security?

I have scanned the internet about each of these three brands, comparing components, pricing, and service contracts; each of these providers list their offerings, and Protect America comes up as the best. I have searched for reviews from Consumer Reports, but I have come up dry. The various sites refer to the generic words, "consumer reviews", as well as "Consumer Digest". What is your insight on any of these three servces ? Can anyone find me reviews from Consumer Reports, as well?

Vector keeps stopping by trying to sell. They seem legit but I keep thinking of ADT. Just want to see what others use. Also what is the Norm for contract length?

The equipment is expensive and monitoring is expensive too.

Unit B: 2 doors, 13 windows

If I have the most money in the world, what are some of the cool features a home security system can have?

I mean like if you walk on the lawn while its on then it will trip or laser beams pass hallways stuff like that? what is the most advanced Home security system money can buy? and what are its features!

i have to drag the bar across the screeen to unlock it , but one tht happens i want a security lock code , tht way when somebody goes to read or snoop around my phone i want there to be security code like all the time . so can someone please help me i’ve been searching forever , on how to set a security lock on my home screen . thanks : )

I want to install a basic to intermediate wireless home security system to my condo and not sure which one to get. Basic requirements are

1. at least 5 contacts to secure window/door
2. will notify me through phone/email
3. pet immune motion detector
4. easy to install & expand (add more accessories later)
5. reliable and low maintenance

Price range is 200~300, I have no problem to go beyond that if it’s worth it. So far two brand names seem to be possible candidates, Skylink Deluxe Kit and GE Simon 3, but I’m not sure I’ve checked the right place for info. Can you suggest a system/model that would best fit my needs? and which vendor to buy from?

I am looking to buy the Basic Home ADT security package, Should i feel much,much,much safer with the service? Or just much,much safer, or just feel safe. I am concerned with breaking/entering my home.

i’ve been having some problems with home security at the new house i just moved into and please no suggestions on moving the price is amazing and the location and area is great does anyone know where i can buy the following items barbwire, beartraps, if there are legal landmines. a large net, and a tranquelizer gun. possible ghost traps as someone recommended or if anyone knows of one of those poltergiest hunter people im not sure if its a ghost i think just a pesky neighbor anyway heres my case i just moved into the neighborhood i have great neighbors but the past few weeks i’ve noticed unsual things i swear i saw a short bald guy masturbating in my backyard through my living room window then the next day i found a teddy bear stuffed with empty twinkie wrappers and his head ripped off and a poop on my george forman i know this sounds strange i swear im not crazy my neighbors think im on drugs i figured if i take it into my own hands i can get rid of the mortgage on my house.

I bought a dress about an hour ago and when I came home I realized they forgot to take the security sensors off. It is also weird that nothing beeped when I walked out of the store. I do not have time to go back to the store and I was wondering if there were any simple tricks to take it off? The only other option is going all the way back to the store with my receipt and have them remove it but it is time consuming. Please help me.

I was a stay-at-home-Mom while I raised 4 kids. I then worked but didn’t make much money. I draw less than 600.00 per month social security. I hear that people that have never paid into the system are drawing a whole lot mor than me. What’s the story? AND is there any organization out there that has members that are in the same situation as me?

I am wondering and look for another online Security Camera Viewer that is free of course, so I could view my home security cameras when away. I have one now called j2kip.com but it is TERRIBLE! that is the one the guy gave me when he hooked up my cameras. ( I can no longer get in touch with him.)
