There is no option for updating. I think it will be updated automatically.

I see there is activity in the firewall icon but cant find a way to view the connections… Please help… I think someone is downloading alot of stuff from my pc

I just got two new Dell Laptops and I know I have issues with conflict on my Vista laptop that hasn't been resolved yet. I just don't want the same issues with these new ones.

I've downloaded the new Zone Alarm Free on my PC. and it keeps flashing red instead of green, and it gets tiresome after a while. And I have to CONSTANTLY reboot my machine just to keep ZA in the green and sometimes I have to wait (for God knows how long) for it to get back into the green again. Can somebody help me out?

Now on both my desktop, and my laptop, I've been getting this message every time I start it from hibernation, sleep, or whatever. It shows a ballon that says "Firewall plocked acess to internet to computer.(UD Port …..) from IP (my router's IP adress. (UDP Port ….) Then it says the program is from windows services. it was something like svchost.exe or something like that. Does it really need to block this? On my laptop it makes the internet take a while to connect and all fussy.
I never said my laptop was slow…. I just got it a couple weeks ago. It's just zone alarm.

Zone Alarm gave me a BSOD once, and I don't want to go through that again.

ok i see a feature on zone alarm that has a vault so i put
bank card on in the vault and when i access legitimate sites
like facebook myspace or yahoo zone alarm says these sites
try to access bank card should i allow yes or no , i mean isnt
it safer or better just keeping it in a folder in ur hard drive
its not like every site u access can get into ur hard drive .

i want to reinstall windows xp. the problem is that zone alarm will be deleted. how can i keep it because it has 1yr more till it expires. i have the one with 3 users but used only one. i dont want to waste my first one. this software has the same serial number.

when starting the computer, a message from zone alarm will appear to buy the internet security suite. how to disable this annoying pop ups when there is no disable button?

on zone alarm my friend keeps getting them small popups on the down right side of the screen saying something 2323992 has been blocked should u allow it etc??? i dont understand all this. how do u solve the problem because once he blocked something and he couldnt get into his 'DRIVE C' my computer

i have zone alarm on my labtop ,i get an publice wireless network and i get this message " Protected " and it gives me ip adress No. tells me that this address trying to access my computer .. and when i go home with the same computer , defirant network "my wireless" i get the same message with the same No. … what is that ? does the Zone alarm gives a fake alarms to protend that it's working good ??? or what??

i have zone alarm suite. I have utorrent set as allowed to receive incoming connections and everything else. but somehow the firewall stops the incoming traffic and it kills my d/l rate. upload rate still good. I love zone alarm but i don't want to shut it down to use utorrent, because i don't want my comp to be "PROTECTED" by windows firewall. What can i do????

I use to use Zone Alarm, then uninstalled it due to trying to download another Program. Apparently I did not do a clean uninstalling because tech help for IE7 is not able to help me get IE7 on my computer, something is blocking it. Tech is very sure it is Zone Alarm uninstalled incorrectly. Since I am a computer novice, I'm sure they are correct. I have no idea where to go from here.

Hi, I have zone alarm and it gives me little alerts when a new program is asking for the internet. My problem is that now and then they will pop up while I'm typing and they instantly get the focus of the computer, so if I happen to press (a)ccept or (d)ecline, it will think I intended to select one of those. Is there a way to make it so when I get an alert, it won't immediately take input from my keyboard?

what causes computer to be slower after installing zone alarm free firewall?
it's the software iftself? or it's something not correctly configured?

My pc doesn't have viruses neither spyware, I'm certain of it, because it was quicker before using zone alarm and it doesn't have any other problems.

Zone Alarm says to manually quarantine it but I don't seem to be able to manually do it with Zone Alarm.

Right now I have Norton's suite, but have heard so much about Zone Alarm. I had checked the comparison tables on their sites, but I don't exactly trust things like that because businesses will probably exagurate for money
