Adware generates popups, and there are programs available to identify and remove these pesky things. Get AdAware from lavasoft. go to http://www.download.com and search for it. You have Ad-ware. I have almost no pop-ups. You aren't going to eliminate all of them unless you eliminate the Internet. Sorry. I have 3 Anti-Spyware; 3 Anti-Adware; 1 Anti-Rootkit; 1 Anti-Virus; & 1 Firewall besides the 3 popup blockers. Guess what? I STILL will catch an adware once in a dog's age. If you are using IE

Left click on Tools
Left click on Internet Options
Left click on Privacy
Make sure the box in front of Block pop-ups is checked
(Left click on it if you don't see a check mark)
Left click on OK

If anything breaks you will have to override those sites
that require you to allow popups in order to use them.

To do this,

Left click on Sites
Type the domain name e.g. yahoo.com then left click on Allow
When you have added all of them left click on OK
Left click on OK one more time
Close then reopen IE
