How do I disable the car alarm on my 2000 Ford Windstar?
My van won’t start after trying to replace the stereo. I think I may have triggered the alarm system and now the van won’t start. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get it running again?

How do you know its not the battery? Ford Radios do not require codes. Plus, deactivating the alarm won’t do anything. There is a chip in the key that has to register with the antitheft system. If the new radio was not installed properly it could have drained the battery. It may be a simple battery discharge!
Call Ford. They’ll tell you how to fix it. Make sure you have the documentation for the car with you when you call.
