How do I Disarm My Car Alarm?
I have a 01 Integra with a Automate AM5 Security system and it keeps going off randomly. I want to disarm the security system but I don’t want to disarm my keyless entry lock/unlock. The manual said something about pressing the lock/unlock button 5 seconds after horns goes off will silence the horn but the system will be in armed state. I tried and it didn’t work. I can careless about the security system but I want to disarm the security and still able to get in my car with my keyless entry. What should I do?

If it’s factory installed, there should be a fuse or relay in the engine compartment power distribution box. It should be near your battery and inside the lid will be a legend telling what each goes to. Just pull the one for the alarm.
replace the battery/when they get weak the alarm starts to react
I agree with KenK. A weak battery will set the alarm off, especially in the dead of night when the cold causes the battery voltage to drop even lower and make it seem like a door was opened- that kind of power drop sets off the alarm. If a new battery doesn’t correct the problem, then other components are malfunctioning and you really should have the dealer troubleshoot it instead of jacking around and maybe wind up with a car you can’t open or will not start.
