How to uninstall active security from your computer?
i removed it from add and remove programs, but it reinstalled it self. it even downloaded porn sites on my computer.
Active security installed itself on my computer without my permission?
what is it. how Do i remove it
i can’t download anything. it shuts up all my attempts to remove it, start my computer in safe mode, or even exit it. please help. i can’t open add or remove programs

this fake active security thing is installed by trojans. that’s how it got on board and that’s how it reinstalled itself. you can delete this thing with antispyware. download malwarebytes on another computer and copy the install file to infected machine using usb drive. here’s malwarebytes download: http://malwarebytes.org/

If your computer came with a cd, put it in & reinstall your o/s. If it didn’t come with a cd then you would have a recovery partition. Go to Start>Programs>System Recovery, or at startup you would see an option to press F10 or F11 for recovery. Recovery will reinstall your windows & you may have an option to backup your documents, after which you would have to run a scan, as there may be leftover malware. This will put your computer back to factory settings, so you would have to update & reinstall any programs that you added.
I had a similar problem about a year ago & had to do the above.

Reboot ur pc>press F8 into safe mode with network>run perfect uninstaller if u have>click "Force Uninstaller" tab>select its folder>uninstall it.
