Is it legal for a condo association to set up a video surveilance of just one floor of the whole complex?
They gave us a note that it is to monitor to see who has been pulling the fire alarm. Apparently some area teenagers have been messing around. But after the fact, they are now monitoring who comes in and out of my condo. My brother comes over every evening for dinner, then goes home. They are trying to say that he actually lives here and have threatened to tow him, when he is using visitor parking! Please help!!!

It is criminal to pull fire alarms when false. They are being charged for each call, and can video tape the area in question.
As for your brother, you need to talk to them about that. Not sure that they can do anything about him living there, but can about him parking in visitor lots. You should show then some type of id that gives his real address.
