Is there some kind of security technology that would tell me if someone crosses a “line” on my property?
I have 130 ft of lakefront property and am wondering if I can set up a laser or something that would run parallel to the shoreline and sound a signal or alarm when someone crosses over it towards the water. I have 2 young kids and this seems like it would be a good safety feature. I know there are laser sensors that do this in the garage, but this would have to stretch much farther obviously. Or if not a laser beam, possibly another idea?

^ the middle link is a light beam fence and the other two are laser fences. none of them are too expensive, and I’m pretty sure they all have sound signals/alarms on them. If you decide to go with the laser fence and need to learn how to install it, here’s a link with a video guide on it:

Hope this helps!
There are devices to do this- I looked into myself several years ago- the technology only has to be better now- sorry I do not remember the company name.
There are many property line alarms that will do what you want..these driveway alrms also protect your property line and are wireless
