need help with 98 pathfinder car alarm?
i have a 98 pathfinder my key has suddenly wont come out of the ignition but car still will turn on and off. problem is i know that to stop my alarm going off i always shut the door and open it with the key but obviously i cant do that. is there a way to stop my alarm from going off and to allow me to start the car again.

To fix the ignition issue you will need to replace the ignition lock cylinder. The new lock cylinder will either come with a key already cut for it or you will need to send the lock cylinder out to have it keyed. As far as the alarm goes, just get a new key fob and have it programmed to your truck. That way you can arm and disarm your alarm with the key fob.
