I have a Sony Viao VGC-RB50 computer it was bought as a floor model from Staples, all of the documents are under Staples name.I bought a system recovery disk. It says to backup my data so it won’t be lost. I don’t know how to do this, so i called Sony support and they said they didn’t recommend that. I believe i only need to recover my (C) drive. I don’t want to lose my stuff on my computer because i don’t know of anyway to keep it. Is it a wrong thing to do to try and backup my data, and can it be dangerous to my computer. If it is safe to backup my data can you tell me how and also what part of the recovery i should do. Please give me the right info. This is a good place for information and i have recieved alot of good info. I wish i could pick everyone for a best answer because a lot of people try and help. Thanks

I know it’s alot of questions but I hope someone can help me EDIT: I need for my laptop and notebook.

I rent a duplex and the High Water Alarm on our septic tank has been going off pretty continuously for about 8 months now. The only time it goes off is for 30 seconds when it shoots water 15 feet in the air (over the telephone poles when its rained alot) or when it hasn’t rained in weeks. It’s driving me INSANE! I’ve called the property manager about 3-4x a week for the last 6 months and even called the property owner. They say they will send someone out and never have. I’m getting ready to shoot the dang thing. Is there anything legally I can do to get them to come out or to get this to stop???
I keep going out to push the reset button (or off or whatever it is) but it turns back on in about 5 minutes… I know nothing about these things so I can’t fiddle with the wiring or anything.

i had this dream a loong time ago! a couple months ago and i somewhat remember another dream that happened over a year ago, i dreamt that i was in this lush forest surrounded by teens my age now that i think about it its alot like peter pan, i saw a huge tree house too, and we were being chased by i think adults, and everyone ran up the trees.. i was alone and i was being cornered i saw a little puddle of crystal clear water and i heard my alarm ringing and i woke up! i dont know why i can remember this dream so vividly

I had Norton and I uninstalled it then I bought "Defender Pro 2008" and so I installed it and now my computer is acting a little funny because now when I go into my space and check to see if I have messeges or something it will say "loading" but it will never finsh and I try to refresh that dont work also I try to go to the top where it say home, mail, friends, music, etc. and it will not give the drop down menu options like browse people or find friends. I try to play that Poker Holdem Application and that will never stop loading either. So I unistalled the Antivirus thing to if it worked then…nope. So i installed it again so I can have back on my computer. So my question is does this sound familiar Has this ever happened to you? why is my computer acting this way? Also, all the suden I cant play videos it just prompts me to download adobe which i check to see in the control panel if i still have it and i do! Or java still have that too. I try to download it anyway to see what happens and it wont let me! Please someone help I use my computer for alot and the fact that i was trying to make work better and spend money on it and now it acts like this just fusterates me.

i have a CARBINE alarm remote for my 05 nissan altima. recently it has been failing. theres alot of times where it wont unlock the car. i took it to the dealer and they said to get a new battery so i did. but still the same problem, it wont unlock the car. do i need to buy a new remote and get it programmed or what is it? does anyone know what i have to do? ill appreciate any help

I live in a terrace house behind a high street of shops and between my house and the shops is a large back alley. Currently there is alot of anti social behaviour going on in the back alley like people setting bins on fire, vandalism and burglary (including my house) just to name a few things! The police and the fire service are always been called out and the people who do these things just get away with it!

I really want to install a CCTV camera on my house pointing into the back alley to see everything that goes on and hopefully catch some people red handed, but I really no nothing about the rules of having CCTV and how to run and record CCTV cameras.

So firstly, am I allowed to put a camera on my house pointing at my back gate and the back alley? Where are the best places to buy cameras? (UK) How do I record what the cameras see?? I have one very slow computer. Could having cameras on my house make my house a target? Anything else you might think will help me??

I recently bought a MacBook, i only used PC’s before this. I used a 320 gb external hard drive to hold alot of backup data, movies, music, ect on my pc. When i plug the USB into my Mac it doesnt not allow me to modify the external drive. It says the drive cannot be modified, and all the folders have locks on them. Any ideas how to unlock the drive?

My neighborhood recently been having lot of car and home burglaries, I’m thinking of getting a alarm system for my house but can’t decide on what’s the best alarm system or company to get, I’m deciding on either Brinks, ADT or Smith security, I’ve never heard of Smith but its alot more affordable but I don’t know if its as good, please help, I have a young child at home and scared living without an alarm system!

For 1 week I was spotting very lightly or nothing at all..so I took a pregnancy test at home..positive..next day..another one…positive..2 days after I went to a free clinic and they said I wasn’t based on the urine test, so they referred me to another place…to get my blood tested…they didn’t do it tho…they just gave me another urine..negative again…but…very faint line showed up on the positive…2 weeks straight I’ve just been spotting…but before I went to the doctors..I was drinking alot of water…could that have diluted my hormones? And also I started bleeding more than usual and had big blood clots…is this a miscarriage? I don’t have that kind of money to go everywhere to find out what is goin on? Do you? This is very frustrating for me & sad…I was not expecting to have a baby and when i accepted it I was so excited…now that this happen I am confused…

Hi there I am 33 weeks pregnant, I was wondering…… (sorry for tmi) I went to the bathroom this morning and when I wiped I had a wee bit of tiny chunks on the toilet paper of discharge, Then I wiped again to check again and there was alot of light yellow kida watery like discharge it wasn’t thick at all. I can’t get in to see my doctor until Monday. Has anyone experianced and should I be alarmed, I don’t have a clue what the mucos plug geraly looks like and I have never had my water break in my past pregnancy,

Last night i went to sleep after having really bad braxton hicks for about 2 hours, IDK if that is relevant. But i sleep with a body pillow in between my legs. I awoke and saw that a wet spot, about the size of a record (a vinyl record) had appeared on the pillow. I am not sure what it was exactly, but it was odorless and clear. I just thought that if your water broke it was suppose to be alot of liquid all at once and that contractions should have begun immediately. um…about a week ago i lost my plug and this morning i am pretty sure i experienced my first real contraction which oddly enough was in my back. But i haven’t had one since, and to be honest it wasn’t really that painful just yet.
I have no idea if i am dilated at all bc my doctor has never checked. I am planning on calling the labor ward and talking with a midwife asap. I was just wondering your opinion, I know they tell you false alarms are normal and okay to have, but id like to avoid all the trouble if this is something normal @ 37 weeks…

and the wet spot was between my legs. btw.
and @ my last doc appt he did tell me that my baby was in position…
also the BH i experienced did not go away with water and rest, idk if that is relevant either.
i am sure it was odorless. and my leaking has subsided, i was having a pretty heavy discharge but today i have had very little.
ok i called the mid wife, she said i pee’d myself. wtf? i KNOW i didnt pee myself.
