i have a CARBINE alarm remote for my 05 nissan altima. recently it has been failing. theres alot of times where it wont unlock the car. i took it to the dealer and they said to get a new battery so i did. but still the same problem, it wont unlock the car. do i need to buy a new remote and get it programmed or what is it? does anyone know what i have to do? ill appreciate any help

I live in a terrace house behind a high street of shops and between my house and the shops is a large back alley. Currently there is alot of anti social behaviour going on in the back alley like people setting bins on fire, vandalism and burglary (including my house) just to name a few things! The police and the fire service are always been called out and the people who do these things just get away with it!

I really want to install a CCTV camera on my house pointing into the back alley to see everything that goes on and hopefully catch some people red handed, but I really no nothing about the rules of having CCTV and how to run and record CCTV cameras.

So firstly, am I allowed to put a camera on my house pointing at my back gate and the back alley? Where are the best places to buy cameras? (UK) How do I record what the cameras see?? I have one very slow computer. Could having cameras on my house make my house a target? Anything else you might think will help me??

I recently bought a MacBook, i only used PC’s before this. I used a 320 gb external hard drive to hold alot of backup data, movies, music, ect on my pc. When i plug the USB into my Mac it doesnt not allow me to modify the external drive. It says the drive cannot be modified, and all the folders have locks on them. Any ideas how to unlock the drive?

My neighborhood recently been having lot of car and home burglaries, I’m thinking of getting a alarm system for my house but can’t decide on what’s the best alarm system or company to get, I’m deciding on either Brinks, ADT or Smith security, I’ve never heard of Smith but its alot more affordable but I don’t know if its as good, please help, I have a young child at home and scared living without an alarm system!

I know that sounds dumb.lol But since I got up I have have been coughing kinda hard (happens in the morning alot..and NO I DO NOT smoke..never have..never will…) and every time I cough I feel very wet ‘down there". like I can feel it happening. I have been having issues with excessive discharge and a couple false alarms even the doctor said "wow" at the amount of watery discharge lol

I’m 35 weeks…Dr. thinks I could be more like 37/38 but he doesn’t want to change my due date..he says if I’m further then I’ll go into labor soon…if not..then I’ll be waiting till january lol

For 1 week I was spotting very lightly or nothing at all..so I took a pregnancy test at home..positive..next day..another one…positive..2 days after I went to a free clinic and they said I wasn’t based on the urine test, so they referred me to another place…to get my blood tested…they didn’t do it tho…they just gave me another urine..negative again…but…very faint line showed up on the positive…2 weeks straight I’ve just been spotting…but before I went to the doctors..I was drinking alot of water…could that have diluted my hormones? And also I started bleeding more than usual and had big blood clots…is this a miscarriage? I don’t have that kind of money to go everywhere to find out what is goin on? Do you? This is very frustrating for me & sad…I was not expecting to have a baby and when i accepted it I was so excited…now that this happen I am confused…

I rent a duplex and the High Water Alarm on our septic tank has been going off pretty continuously for about 8 months now. The only time it goes off is for 30 seconds when it shoots water 15 feet in the air (over the telephone poles when its rained alot) or when it hasn’t rained in weeks. It’s driving me INSANE! I’ve called the property manager about 3-4x a week for the last 6 months and even called the property owner. They say they will send someone out and never have. I’m getting ready to shoot the dang thing. Is there anything legally I can do to get them to come out or to get this to stop???
I keep going out to push the reset button (or off or whatever it is) but it turns back on in about 5 minutes… I know nothing about these things so I can’t fiddle with the wiring or anything.

Hi there I am 33 weeks pregnant, I was wondering…… (sorry for tmi) I went to the bathroom this morning and when I wiped I had a wee bit of tiny chunks on the toilet paper of discharge, Then I wiped again to check again and there was alot of light yellow kida watery like discharge it wasn’t thick at all. I can’t get in to see my doctor until Monday. Has anyone experianced and should I be alarmed, I don’t have a clue what the mucos plug geraly looks like and I have never had my water break in my past pregnancy,

Last night i went to sleep after having really bad braxton hicks for about 2 hours, IDK if that is relevant. But i sleep with a body pillow in between my legs. I awoke and saw that a wet spot, about the size of a record (a vinyl record) had appeared on the pillow. I am not sure what it was exactly, but it was odorless and clear. I just thought that if your water broke it was suppose to be alot of liquid all at once and that contractions should have begun immediately. um…about a week ago i lost my plug and this morning i am pretty sure i experienced my first real contraction which oddly enough was in my back. But i haven’t had one since, and to be honest it wasn’t really that painful just yet.
I have no idea if i am dilated at all bc my doctor has never checked. I am planning on calling the labor ward and talking with a midwife asap. I was just wondering your opinion, I know they tell you false alarms are normal and okay to have, but id like to avoid all the trouble if this is something normal @ 37 weeks…

and the wet spot was between my legs. btw.
and @ my last doc appt he did tell me that my baby was in position…
also the BH i experienced did not go away with water and rest, idk if that is relevant either.
i am sure it was odorless. and my leaking has subsided, i was having a pretty heavy discharge but today i have had very little.
ok i called the mid wife, she said i pee’d myself. wtf? i KNOW i didnt pee myself.

can anyone give me some pionters or sugest were i go from there? or can anyone direct me to some sites….. ive yahooed alot and i havent come across a site that helps me…. but if you know any ill check them out plz i really need to do this report its worth 2 test grades

I have a XP tower and a macbook pro at home, currently i have 2 external harddrives (80G and 60G) dedicated to each, which creates data redendancies and is hard to sync the data since the mac wont read NTFS etc. I'm now looking into a single solution that I can backup data to a single media. Any ideas? The backup mainly consist of common files used in both systems like Pictures (about 10G) Music (About 20G) and personal files (under 5G)

Oh, I do have alot of blank DVDs but it's hard to keep track of it, unless anyone has a good scheme (and ways to organize) of using DVDs to backup large amount of data without too much confusion. Thanks!
no USB flash, cant backup 30GB of music and picture that way, I do use ghost for creating system imagining though not personal files. FAT32 seems the way to go, but i have to defrag it after certain usage right? And my external casing is not letting the MAC to format my harddrive, it locks up the system; and windows XP doesnt support formatting to FAT32 larger than 32GB, and no I dont have windows 2000 around = /

I have a '99 volvo S80 with the security package (including an interior motion sensor, inclination sensor, and primary battery/ backup battery powered alarm). If a tow truck driver were to tow my car the alarm would go off, it's very sensitive. Is there anything they could do to my car to stop the alarm while it's going off? Otherwise the person would have to deal with the alarm for quite a while. This is obviously speaking in terms of towing I didn't authorize, no one wants to come back and find their car missing from where they left it.
They wouldn't be able to get at the fuses though, because it's locked. I mean I figure they're not going to care about an alarm going off. And it has a backup battery, so when the main battery power gets to a certain level the backup takes over. It obviously doesn't have the same capacity as the main batt though, but can keep the signals flashing for 24 hours cuz the siren doesn't stay on the whole time (or so I've read). I guess the tow truck driver wouldn't care, but I pity the poor sucker who's sitting in the impount lot

Not that I park illegally though anymore than I have to- but I do live in LA and am in Hollywood alot, and there's never any parking there so you can get the picture. Everyone in LA has to illegally park sometimes, but I try not to leave my car there that long.

I have two computers on a wireless network. One connects fine. The other computers shows a small amount of data packets being received and sent, but there is a tiny padlock above the linked computers pictures in the activity section of the Network Connection Status window. When I try to connect to the internet on this pc, it shows the error message "cannot connect to the internet–this page cannot be displayed." I have Trend Micro PC-cillin internet security software, but my kids use this computer alot and go to gaming and music sites, etc. Can this be caused by a virus? Thanks.
