i have a magicar fai-300 car alarm and i need to reprogram the remote. i can’t find the instructions anywhere. does anyone know how?

When a car alarm goes OFF, it actually turns ON. And it already was ready to go on, so kinda was already ON. But still,it does’nt really work that way so why do ppl sya its goes OFF when it really turnes ON??

i have a 2000 ford expodition factory car alarm. i need to make it more sensitive. how can i adjust it so that it will go off if for example another car door hits it?

I have a crownvic and bought a 2-way car alarm on ebay for a steal ive had it sitting in a box for a while it has remote start how much does it cost to have theese installed (properly) and do you go to a mechanic or car audio place?

My car doesn’t have powerlocks nor a car alarm. I can do without powerlocks but I’d really like to install an alarm system. Anyone have any experiences about installing car alarms? Should I go out and buy a kit or can a mechanic do this for a cheap price?

I’m confused if a panic feature of a car is the same as having a car alarm.
I know you can use a panic button to stop a would-be thief when you catch the act.
But I want to know if an alarm would sound if I’m not around to stop the theft.
Basically, is a panic feature the same as having a car anti-theft alarm, or is it completely separate?.

a bought a car alarm at best buy a few days ago and want to get it installed but since i work in the morning till night i can’t find the time. so is there a certain length of time that i have to have geek squad install it. i still have the receipt.

I have a Warlock car alarm. Sometimes after periods of heavy rain I have trouble disarming the alarm. I have to hold the remote right up to the side of the car for a while to get it to disarm, or else unlock the door with the key (which sets the alarm off) and sit inside the car with the remote held up to the dashboard to disarm it.

I don’t think it’s the remote, because most of the time I can arm/disarm the alarm from 10 metres away. Could it be that water is getting into one of the sensors, say the bonnet sensor, and confusing the alarm?

My car alarm goes when i put the key in the ignition and when i open the passenger door or the driver’s door sometimes. I don’t really need an alarm so i just want to know how to disconnect it.

We just bought a Honda Accord that was used as an undercover unit. The police lights are hidden inside the head and tail lights. There’s also what we think is a siren. Could we use the equiptment for a car alarm?
I’m thinking not likely, but man that would be cool. We recently had our other car broken into and I know those thugs would be gone with the quickness if when the car alarm went off, it was those side lights and a very load siren.

Our car alarm has started going off in the middle of the night for no reason. Using the remote to unlock and then lock again works for the moment but then it starts again. The one LCD remote that we have shows a hammer hitting the front side of the car which, I assume, means that it thinks the car is being vandalized but it is not. Can anyone help us figure this out?

i have a viper alarm for my car

when my car alarm went off, i tried using my remote to stop it but did not work. it worked fine before. now i cant start the car even though i can open the door without the alarm going off.

is there any way to fix this problem. i dont know what my other button of my control do. there is 2, 1 is to turn off/on the alarm and the other i dont know. its side by side.

If that is not possible you wish to teach the owner a lesson.
Perhaps by doing something to the car that shall let the owner know

Keep your keys by you when you go to bed. If you hear an intruder simply press the alarm button for your car. The alarm can usually be triggered from anywhere in the house and will continue until you turn it off or the car battery runs down. This type of noise is undesirable by an intruder so chances are good they will leave to avoid detection. Also eventually one of your nosy neighbors (we all have them) will come to see what all the ruckus is about.

The same protection can be gotten during the day if you fall or otherwise need to attract attention to yourself. A continuous car alarm is very annoying. Someone will eventually come to find out why it has not been turned off.

I read that in a email today and wondered if anyone else had heard of this.
