I have a 2001 BMW 325i and recently the car alarm has been going off at random. I have been using the master key to activate/deactivate the alarm; however, for no apparent reason the alarm will go off. What can be causing this and what can I do to fix the problem?

I have a Clifford Matrix car alarm, works good, but I want to add 2 more flashing LED’s in the doors. The matrix can only drive 1 LED, so I was told I need an LED Amplifier so the alarm can drive 2 more LED’s.. I can’t find one anywhere, my local car alarm shop knows of them but can’t get them.
Does anyone know where I can get one, or how to build one? thank you!

can the car alarm be better or steering lock better? alarms too expensive and steering is cheap. which one do you think it d be the best? i own honda civic 2000 LX

I am looking for a very good car alarm for my 1992 Civic Hatchback. I have recently fixed it and I’m worried about it getting stolen, tampered with, etc. I have seen many types of system and want to see others opinions. Cost is no object.

Someone broke the side mirrors and head lights when i parked my car roadside. and i don’t see the car alarm working. is his quite common?

Suddenly my car alarm has begun to go on when the car is off — in the middle of the night, or anytime! Likewise the inside left-front "door open" bell and light go on when I’m driving even though the door is shut tight and locked! What’s going on? How can I fix it? This is driving us (and our neighbors!) bonkers!
p.s. It’s a 2001 VW Jetta.

is 127 db for a car alarm loud or quiet as far as car alarms go?

My car alarm keeps going off at certain points of time. Most of the time it goes off 2 or 3 times in the day at 2 or 3 different hours. It has been happening at 12:00 pm and then at 3:00 pm.

I reset the battery each time it goes off, just because I am scared it will turn on after 4 pm (which it doesn’t).

Anyone have a solution to this problem? I have been dumb-founded with this problem now for a week.

just recently my car alarm is not letting me start my car. ive had the vechile for months now and the alarm system has never worked. but couple days ago i go to start my car and te alarm just keeps going off and it wont start i disconnected the battery just to shut it up. i know the only other thing to do is go to the dealership but does anyone have any more affordable answers???

My car alarm has always been working great until recently. It will lock and unlock the car but I will no longer make the beeping noise to insure me it’s locked. Also the blue light that use to just blink now stays on solid blue all the time.

Besides trespassing what can happen if you accidentally set off someones car alarm?
Say if a car was in someones yard and you got to close and accidentally touched a car and the car alarm went off.What can happen?Besides trespassing.This happened to myself and a friend and we took off and ran.It was honestly an accident.My friend fell forward and the hit the car.The alarm went off.So we ran.

I bought a mazda 626. it has a car alarm. the horn blows when i unlock the doors.i dont have the remote to turn the alarm off so i have to take the battery cable off to stop it. I just dont want to use it.How can i just disable it ? I want to be able to just lock my doors and not use the alarm.

The car alarm is making it so i can not turn my car on. I just got this car used from a family member , I had asked them and their reply was , " it had a car alarm ?". I could not find really any good information online. Other than maybe taking out the fuse but I had no idea where it is. Plz help >< I need to get to work.

Never use set my car alarm but somehow it set itself last night but it will not shut off using the remote. I can get into my car but because the alarm is activated, it will not allow me to start car.

All the sudden today my car alarm key chain ( the thing you lock and unlock) well mine just died? It dosnt lock or unlock my car. Nor will it pop the trunk nor will the alarm work? Do I need to change a battery in the key chain (it looks like it pops open) Or is a problem under the hood?

When I bought this car from the dealership, it came with the engine immobilizer, but I’m not sure what it really does. I also bought wheel locks for my rims and the club to lock my steering wheel. I’m not sure if I still need to install a car alarm.

I have a mazda 6 2004, and the car alarm is absolutely annoying. I would park on the street and when a truck or large vehicle would drive by, it would trigger the alarm because of the vibration. I removed the Horn Relay from the fuse box and that did the trick, but also took out my steering wheel horn. Would I have to go to a mazda dealership?

Curious thought 9.9…I know what a car alarm is made for but why couldn’t there just be one sound like a beep sound instead of a variety of sounds? Is there a story behind it?
