I want my husband to see the files held by my solicitors relating to my divorce from my 1st husband .The solicitor is refusing under the data protection act Even tho I have given permission

At my school there was a fake facebook profile created to show students about online safety, after the assembly of course everyone added the fake account but recently one of the teachers / IT techs have started using it to play on games , i have talked to him and he will not tell anyone who he is , he says that telling us would be against the data protection act and that the school could get into trouble.He does not visit other profiles , comment or anything but im sure just being friends with us all is against that act , why cant he tell us his name yet he can be friends with us under a totally different name ?

Called in sick as morning sickness all throughout the night. So I had no sleep and I was still being sick. I got a call back 15 minutes later from a supervisor asking why I called in sick and whether or not I can return to work same day. Advised I would see how I felt but if I was unable to I would definately inform them. 
I could go back to work as I never got sleep and I was very sick still. 

Returned to work the next day…

I had a back to work meeting where I was told if I was to continue to be sick they will force me to go on maternity leave. Bare in mind I’m 15 weeks. They also said that it’s dangerous having morning sickness this far on in my pregnancy and is a cause for concern. 
I was asked what treatment I was on and was I doing everything to stop it. I did advise that I was having ingestetion tablets and Ginger tea. Supervisor then asked me if I was smoking still. I gave up the day before but I refused to answer. Overall I was made out to be a worse person in the world. Worse than cancer I wish I was exaggerating. 
Supervisor cont meeting. Telling me this and that and that from a company point of view I was not doing everything I should be doing to prevent my morning sickness as I was still smoking. Please let me point out I don’t smoke any more. That smoking causes and exaggerate morning sickness personallly and medically I thought it was based on HCG levels growing. 

Overall for 1 day sickness I have to get my GP to write a report on me for the day I was sick. Is this right?? 

I spoke to ACAS they have informed me that they’re breaking the law. They are breaching sex discrimination act. Employment act and the data protection act as they do jot require all this information from myself. I mean my work doesn’t need all this info.

Does the UK data protection act cover all information held on you by an organisation, however held, be it paper records, computers, back of a cigarette packet, etc. Or, is it specifically only data held on a computer?

As a learner (well, now doing pass plus anyway) why I am I not allowed to record my driving in a lesson and then upload/share it? I moved to a new address in Dec 2008 and updated my contact and billing details shortly after on my account on the company’s web site. I continue to pay by direct debit even though I have never received any Itemised bills by the post. In October 2009, my account was suspended. When I called to find out why, I was told the new occupant of my former address had called the company to report I no longer lived there and asked for no further mailings to be sent. So even though I had changed my address online, for some reason the company took no notice of this. They realised they were at fault, they apologised and as a good will gesture took £5 off my next bill. I thought this was over. The problem is, I still haven’t received any bills since then. I logged into my account online and the billing address still remains. And even worse it’s just a summary not itemised. I called the company and they confirmed they have still been sending my bills to my former address. For over a year I’ve been paying by direct debit without knowing the details of what I’m paying for. Do I have a case here? Can I sue for distress under the Data Protection Act? Does anyone know any no-win-no-fee solicitors who handle such cases? Thanks.

Well, i’ve used messenger for ages and recently updated it to beta (i think) or messenger 9. This kept freezing whilst i was using it so I uninstalled it but i was able to sign in when I had it.

Now im back to messenger 8 and every time i try to sign in (with correct password) I get a message saying it has stopped responding and needs to close.

After closing it, a message down at the bottom toolbar (the one with ’start’ and all the small icons at the right) says it had to be closed due to the data protection act and that i need to scan for viruses. I do scan, eliminate any viruses then try to sign in again, and it still doesn’t work.

Any help or advice??
