I have a Clifford Matrix car alarm, works good, but I want to add 2 more flashing LED’s in the doors. The matrix can only drive 1 LED, so I was told I need an LED Amplifier so the alarm can drive 2 more LED’s.. I can’t find one anywhere, my local car alarm shop knows of them but can’t get them.
Does anyone know where I can get one, or how to build one? thank you!

The equipment is expensive and monitoring is expensive too.

Unit A: 4 doors, 24 windows
Unit B: 2 doors, 13 windows

all of a sudden my doors do not beep when open and closed what happened… how do i check battery and get beep back working on home alarm

i always see/hear the alarm going off at my grocery store, walmart, target, home depot, and many other chain stores, but i never see anyone ever get searched. the store workers don’t even pursue them (the ones the past the doors and the alarm sounded) and if they stop the clerks just wave them off. whats the point of alarms if your not going to search anyone that sets it off, thinking its just some error. is there some kind of law that prohibits stores from searching you unless they’re aboslutely sure that you stole something?

Okay well I drive a 1997 Toyota 4Runner, everything is electronic (windows, locks, seats) would I be able to get installed that thing where you push a button and it starts your car? Since my car being older then most is there anything i can’t do?

I know I want the standard alarm system where it locks the doors, but i also want on the remote the button that starts the car.

I have a 2001 Mercury Sable LS PREM. and lately the alarm keeps going off for no reason at all. How do I permanently disable the alarm?
I just had an idea. Can I manually push down the lock the doors by pushing down the nob on the top of the doors. Can I do this without activating the alarm?

the cars alarm is post-manufacture and is called the "viper system" I know nothing about it and lost the keyless entry button.

without the keys, I can get into the car but not start it without hitting the button to unlock the doors.

I can hear the alarm clicking under the dash, but I don’t know which wires to unhook

My shift usually gets off around 10 O clock when the store closes. Every night, our new supervisor would turn on the alarm so the doors could lock and the sensors would turn on. Since he is new, he is still getting the hang of working the alarm. It took him maybe, 15 minutes for us to wait for him to set the alarm up. When he finally figured it out (so he thought) we went outside to our cars. As soon as we left the building and the alarm went off. Our alarm is pretty loud and noticable because it is a big store. Do you know what his reaction was? "Oh well, I’m going home." Do you think he would get fired for not taking care of the situation??? Would you fire him or write him up?

I bought a mazda 626. it has a car alarm. the horn blows when i unlock the doors.i dont have the remote to turn the alarm off so i have to take the battery cable off to stop it. I just dont want to use it.How can i just disable it ? I want to be able to just lock my doors and not use the alarm.
I want my horn .i want to disable the alarm.

my car doesn’t start on alarm anymore ? i can still lock and unlock doors when I try to start it only the dashboard light go on but not the car, i hear a beep same as if i left the key in the car, or if i left the car with the lights on. any ideas ?

for those of you who have a patio door, how can someone try to open the door..

my dad and i went out around 3:30 yesterday afternoon for a meeting…around 4 pm, his phone rang and he passed it on to me..when i saw who was calling, i saw it was adt who was calling and told my dad..they called to notify us that one of the doors was left opened..they called the house number around 4:10 pm then called my dad’s cell phone at 4:12 pm..i honestly remember i checked to make everything was locked before i left..when we got home, we found the latch of the sliding glass door to be unlocked..when my dad called back, he reported it as a false alarm..adt told us the alarm went off around 4:09 pm this afternoon

do you think someone attempted to break in…otherwise, why would adt call us half our after we leave..what is a false alarm.

I have a 2000 toyota corolla and with an automate car alarm with key less entry. Just today, I noticed when I disarm and unlock my car with the remote, the driver’s door lock was already open and the other door locks were locked. So I armed the car and all the other doors locked but the driver’s door, anyone know how to reset this function? If you don’t know then don’t respond I already plan to see the dealer, but that won’t be until this Friday or Saturday, I just want to see if I can do this on my own. Thank you.

I have a 2009 Mazda 3. It has the basic anti-theft, beep thing after you lock the doors, but recently I’ve had some people mess with my car. They snapped off my windshield wiper. The whole thing. Of course my "alarm" would go off if someone tried to hot wire it, but I want something more sensitive. Something that goes off if someone pretty much touches it. Why should I worry about people being dumb when I am still making payments?! Any who, not really looking to spend over 0. Something reasonable. =) Thanks!!

so this morning at 3:00 my car alarm started going off and i shut it off and locked it again. then it went off again so i had to leave my doors unlocked because i cant lock my doors without turning on the alarm. so does anyone know how i can disconnect my alarm? its a 96 camaro 3.8L v6. and it wasnt anyone hitting it or anything because it happened again this morning. thanks

My ‘02 Ford Explorer XLS came with a remote that allows me to lock and unlock the doors remotely, the remote has a panic button and when I push it two time the lights blink and the horn sounds once but then if I unlock the door with the key and opening it while it’s still "armed" it doesn’t do anything…does this mean my car only has keyless entry with no alarm or is there a fuse or cable unplugged? I’v even tried going in the car, locking it with the remote and then opening the door, it still doesn’t do anything…any ideas?

For example, if you opened the driver’s door which is unlocked but all the other doors are locked could it still set off the alarm?

Note: I am asking this question to pull a small prank on a friend, no harm done.

2000 nissan sentra, factory installed car alarm keeps going off despite being able to unlock doors with key. When starting car, BEEP BEEP BEEP… you get the picture!

Will disconnecting the negative battery lead or getting a new remote key battery solve the problem?

My job is to go out and knock on peoples doors and find those who are interested in a free alarm system for their home, with installation include. There is a activation fee and they have to pay monitoring fees of about - per month.

How can I find local people that are searching for something like this without having to knock on doors. I really want to generate sales without having to knock on doors.

More like people calling me interested to join instead.

My car alarm will not stop going off whenever I open the doors. Normally I would just unlock the door from the outside, but both of the keyholes have come out of the door on each side (sounds ridiculous, I know).

I can’t start my car with the alarm going off. I’ve tried taking the terminals off of the battery, to try to reset it or something, but that doesn’t work.

Anyone have any ideas?

We’ve been in our house for almost 5 years and just last year my Ranger American Home alarm suddenly stopped working. No more beeping sounds when the tagged entries are opened and we cant set the alarm anymore when we leave. I checked the battery and changed it, but no luck. Someone told me it might be the transformer but its warm to the touch so Im guessing it has power? Please help, we dont have the alarm service, but we just like the beeping sounds when the doors open because we have a 2 yr old daughter and she can open and unlock the doors now. Thanks
