I want to get a car alarm system for my 2001 honda civic dx, but i don’t know where to start. I tried ebay, but i don’t know which one to pick. I just want a alarm that will open and lock my door and of course, so no one wont steal my car. I dont want one that will start my car, i think that point less. Can someone help me…
Ok I’m looking for a good alarm unit to install in my 99 Camry. Nothing too fancy ( you know the pagers and stuff like that). I want something discrete and works good. I see the alarms they sell on ebay for like .00 or so. Are they any good. Also how do the Camry’s take the aftermarket alarm systems.
Are there any good brands/bad brands.
I’m looking to spend no more then or so.
Any recommendations.
No matter what site I use, ebay, or any other site. When I click on "another view" of an item, or a size chart, or any link, it says windows had encountered a problem and has to close. it actually says data execution prevention, then windows closes. I know this is probably just a security issue but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to fix it
It´s simple, home tired of long working hours, got sleepe at 10 o´clock and the stupid alarm of my neighbor car sound every 10:30, 11:30 pm,(3 days of the week). It has a cheap dlls one, I told helm that I pay for the repair, but wont do it. So It´s there any REMOTE Keycharn or something that I can Scan, and STOP the damn Alarm. got Ebay account, got Paypal accout. A Scanner or brand will help me. On my quest of stopping the dam car alarm.
Can any kind newsreader please help me with my pen drive. When.I put the pen in the drive it asks me
to insert a disc into drive G.
It appears to be reading it as a disc drive. When I try to format it again, it asks me to insert a disc into drive G.
It used to work but has gone from bad to worse. I think I have made it worse by trying to fix it
I am running windows xp so no drivers are required .I bought it on ebay a few months ago
And don’t even remember if I got a warranty with it.
I contacted the seller explaining what was wrong a couple of times but he never even answered my e-mail.
Also when I right click on the drive, then click on open again, it asks me to insert a disc into drive G.
I also get the option to open it as a portable media device. The folder does open.
Inside is an icon of a walkman with ear phones.
When I try to drag anything into the folder it has a small black circle with a black line going across it.
It doesn’t allow me to do it. I’d be grateful is someone can offer some advice.
I don’t even know what make it is but it does have micro vault milestone goods stamped on it
Have also tried it in other computers with no luck.. Also it doesn’t have a data protection switch

Was interested in purchasing the Viper 5902v car alarm from ebay.Best buy has the Viper 5901v but dont have the upgrade model 5902v. Would they install the alarm for just a labor cost? Or should I just purchase the Viper 5901 which includes basic installation?
I have noticed by researching software on the computer that most of them say "licensed for 1 year" etc. I am also considering purchasing it on eBay. Opinions on both please.
I’ve never really shopped around for a car alarm before, but my factory key fob broke and the alarm is outdated, I want to get one with 2 way paging. I’ve seen pretty decent looking ones on E-bay like autopage, just looking for any recommendations what might be the best alarm I can find for about 0 (either in person or online, ebay, etc)
I don’t need anything too fancy, mainly just a well functioning 2 way pager, ignition kill, and I’d like it to be compatible with a 2 stage proximity sensor and pain siren if I decide to add those in the future. (I’d like to have the option to make the proximity sensor chirp only, and not actually set off the alarm)
One other thing that would be very nice is if I can choose between different siren tones rather than one genaric one.
Any suggestions?

It will not let me on Paypal or eBay either. The Yahoo page that it takes me to, if I click to ignore and enter is not right. My seal is wrong and nothing looks right. My computer downstairs is working fine and there are no problems with Yahoo or anything. I ran Norton AntiVirus and Antispyware and it came out fine.
Help please.

I want to set up a surveillance system at my small business. I would like to set up four 2.4ghz wireless cameras to transmit video to a wireless receiver in the next room. I would like to get a quad view 4 split screen with live pictures from all the four cameras and also be able to record all four of them simultaneously. I would like the option to use it via USB on my Mac/PC to both record the screen with the 4 split screens and also as 4 separate video feeds. I tried a cheap alternative on eBay, the EasyCap USB 4 channel 2.4ghz receiver that came with the MultiViewer software. It is not compatible with Vista and cannot record all 4 feeds at the same time. Please can any one suggest a way around this? I am sure there are cheaper alternatives to do this. I just don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on surveillance equipment. I already have the cameras. I just need information on hardware - receiver, and the software to use on my PC. Please help me.
I think I may upgrade RAM on a computer. Are there security risks from selling the old RAM, on say, Ebay? I know this sounds like a stupid question but I don’t know if the person who bought it would be able to access previous saved data or anything I did on the computer. Thanks.
OK, yeah thats what I thought I just wanted to make sure…
i was supposed to get a usb drive but the guy in ebay ripped me off so now i have to look for a way to backup my data. I have about15gb worth of data/movies/pictures. i was thinking about emailing them to a yahoo account, would that work? i cant use online backup sites becus they force you to download software, and i cant since im using the library’s computer. i would appreciatte some tips, thanks
i was thinking about this.
i saw in magazines where they showed how to make sure your information could be erased from a hard drive and they literally showed step by step instructions on how to take a grinder to your hard drive and make… i dont know vertical or horizontal or whatever streaks or whatever their proposed technique was in order to truly make the data on the hard drive inreadable.
coudlnt you just fill up the entire hard drive with new information in order to erase the old information? that woul work wouldnt it? as long as you filled up the hard drive with small files. ………..right?
that would work woudlnt it? why arent there programs on the market that does this. hard drive security is hugely important to anyone that sells a computer. i imagine ebay is a goldmine.
CA security is going out and renewing it is not a option. so it would be perfect if i could get some computer security for free. I just now started the whole ebay thing so i think i better get some more fast.
I just purchased Norton Ghost 10.0 on ebay but my concern is if I need a external drive or can I backup using a data disk in my computer. Thanks
I have a blackberry pearl i bought off ebay, and its been working fine for the past month then yesterday i attempted to send a picture message and it has the clock signal not the red x next to it and i left it for 2 hours and it still had the same signal, i have the data plan or whatever, i used to be able to send picture messages but now i'm not able to i looked on my security settings and i do not have the IT thing, someone please help,
I bought a USED Playstation 3 from an electronics repair shop through eBay. It was sold as-is(video not working). I took care of that problem and now the PS3 runs almost like a normal one except that apparently it's XMB firmware operating system is a "Demonstration Mode" Version 1.02 watered down version (that is usually only used in PS3 store models) of the normal PS3 firmware. Most of the features are permanently locked away except for playing a cd or watching a DVD until I go to settings>(highlighting) Security Settings>(and press all at once) L2+R2+Select+Square. It removes the "Demo Mode sign" but it is still demo mode. I can play DVDs, CDs, BD, access the hard drive and play PS2 games. HOWEVER, I cannot play PS3 games because most (if not all) require firmware updates. No updating with internet, SD cards, changes my firmware (says no applicable data) but there has to be a way! It's a complete hardware sys, so it just needs the correct OS! Sony reps. won't give tech support for it
All I want is to be able to use the great system that I paid for. The electronics store didn't know much about it. They were selling it for parts only. (And I don't want any of this nonsense of "LOL, I guess you bought a stolen system because it wasn't new. You should've spent your money like the rest of us… crap." I have been buying new and used systems side by side without problems since I got my first Atari 2600 in the early 80's. I've owned most video game systems at one point or the other. But I have never had a "bogus" firmware keeping me from playing the games that the system was designed for. None of this "you're screwed dude!" crap either…just intelligent answers please.
Sony tech support claims that they don't know how to fix it although they sometimes get other customers with the same problem. Someone must know something. All I want is to make my system "normal"…nothing shady and no funny business. No mods.
Just the system the way Sony intends it…for better or for worse but functioning the way it is supposed to.
Do I even have to say none of this "check out this site or that site for free stuff…crap"
There will be none of it or you will be reported for spam abuse.
Once again…this is a USED PS3, it was bought on eBay from an electronics repair store. It's operating system looks the same as the other PS3's but it says that it is "Demonstration Mode" and looks like the OS that is found in stores. It will not play anything above a PS2 game because the firmware needs to be updated but the firmware will not update like it is supposed to. I have tried to updated it correctly every way that Sony says to do but it will not update.
Reformating the hard drive and doing a system reset, of course, will have no effect since firmware does not reside on the hard drive. The hard drive is for software.
I just want to be able to find out what the problem is so that I can update to firmware 1.90 and start playing my PS3 games I bought.
