My computer got the Vista Internet Security virus 2 days ago and I immediately attempted to remove it using the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware technique. It seemed like I had removed it, but now my computer has gotten so slow that it is basically unusable. It takes a very long time to turn on and to open programs, and it seems like it gets slower and slower after every time I restart it.
Are there any options for me to fix this?
I got over 300 viruses in my computer and when I did a system recovery and lost everything and started it back up I loaded my games and stuff back up and my games are now running funny. The games are ok except for the video, it stops running smoothly and starts a sorta frame by frame thing that it wasn’t doing before? I got a Kaspersky internet security package and I’m wondering is that the cause because when I had mcafee I didn’t have this problem, so now I am also wondering have I lost some kind of important windows data because of the viruses and or the new internet security? Is their anyone out there that can tell me what the problem is and how to fix it without going to best buy and selling my kids for a 200 bucks an hour computer repair man. Thank you all.
I can’t open itunes, microsoft word and some other stuff, and when i try, i little window pops up that says: "Application cannot be executed. The file win.word.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" If i click yes, it just takes me to some website about internet security and buying it.
How can I fix this!?
Actually, it claims it is a virus warning, but it actually is a virus and now i can’t open anything.
I have access to several different anti-virus programs, two which are usually paid for, but i can get free through my ISP or college. So I would just like to get some of you opinions as to which is the best. The programs are:
1. F-Secure (renamed Centurylink Internet Security for ISP but powered by F-Secure)
2. Symantec Endpoint Protection (from my college’s website- provided free for student to install on
one computer.)
3. Microsoft Security Essentials (free from Microsoft’s Website).
Please list these 1-3 in the order you think is best. If you suggest another program please add it as needed.
P.S. I also occationally run scans with Malwarebytes. So this does not need to be suggested.
is zone alarm a good internet security to buy for full protection.whats your rating…which product do you recommend

Internet security 2010 virus?
This is the second time this damn virus has latched into my computer. It removed malware from my computer, and i tried re-installing it, and guess what? It’s gone again. How can I get rid of this thing?
i swear to god, if i ever find who made this I’m going to take a axe to their computer!
I have Trend Micro on my computer now but it’s about to expire - was there when i bought it. What’s the best program out there that’s easy to use? I don’t want the free sites, I want to pay for something, install it, and not have to think about it or read the manual to get it working.
I keep seeing that Norton and Kaspersky (sp?) are the best, but not user friendly. Any suggestions? Do you need more than internet security? Does that include anti-virus and anti-spam protection? Help!
My computer has been infected by malicious malware that calls itself "internet security 2010" my anti-virus software is not removing it, how do i get rid of it?
I was on Facebook yesterday and something called Internet Security popped up claiming that I have viruses, worms, and trojans on my computer. What is it and how can I uninstall it?
I have 3 computers in my home they all need to have the internet security updated. The last time I updated them I had Geek Squad do it and they made me purchase a different disc for each computer.
I recently bought Kaspersky internet security 2010 for my new computer. But when I installed it, I noticed that my computer booted up very slowly, and it took forever for the desktop to load. I also noticed that it took all my programs a long time to load. I turned off Kaspersky, and everything was fast again. Is there any way to fix this?
I keep getting pop ups that say that there are all kinds of trojans, and viruses attacking my computer. when i scan my system with mcafee there is nothing to be found. when i click the button from the popup to "fix" my system, i am immediately given the opportunity to buy a new computer security system from something called Internet Security 2010
Is G data paid a trustable anti-virus? What about AVG Internet security?
i have heard G Data has 99,8% detection on av-comparatives, which is like whaaa.
I didn’t see any reviews about avg IS (internet security), but like its more expensive that the other paid one, and the other paid one has 95% of detection, maybe internet security is better… anyways can you tell me about g data and avg IS?

I just bought a new computer and I wanted to know what software I should purchase? I do NOT want to buy any free programs, I had avast and spydoctor on my last computer and it became riddled with viruses. I am looking at Norton but I"m not sure if I need to install both Norton Anti virus and Norton 360, or do I need Norton 360 AND Internet security, or some combination of those??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I recently got malware on my computer.. it was a big pain. Couldn’t get rid of it, couldn’t download any virus programs or anything, and couldn’t open any of my anti-virus programs currently installed. Also it redirected antivirus websites to some other crap, anyway it was a big hassle so I just reformatted my hard drive. Now.. I picked up Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, and would this be good enough for my computers security or should I download some other stuff with it?
I have a licensed copy of Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. This software is making temporary files in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP8\Data" folder. Any idea how to resolve this issue .. as this is consuming space and making the windows process slow.
Thank you.
