I have a surveillance video of my roommate using my credit card after stealing it, and i know she took my cash as well with the credit card because they both went missing from my wallet in my house at the same time and no one else was there. How can i prove in court that she stole my cash too?

I walked into my roommates room due to fact my internet connect (WIFI) was fading in and out. I was also trying to do math hw that was due at mid night next day. No problem, Then i thought might be router missing up and then same problem found out. I found out my roommate installed surveillance equipment without my knowledge in his room. I was just going to unplug his router so i could get my homework done. We both have separate leases with apartments but shared resources ……water…electric..etc. I think the only reason he filed the charges due to him wanting to move out day 1. I think he never wanted to move here in first place.
Also, forgot to tell you that he has evidence i went in his room. I told him by text message and his D life camera’s took still pictures. I just walked in his room then walked back out shut the door.

ok, so i could just be being paranoid but my roommate set up a wireless video receiver in our house but he won’t tell me what it is for. im assuming it is for wireless surveillance cameras and i think he might be using them to spy on me. as to why he would spy on me is my business. but anyway, is there a way to tell what the receiver is for without him finding out?

Hello Yahoo Answers:

I’m a writer and I live with a struggling writer (my roommate). The problem is I think she trying to steal my book/ideas off my computer. I’ve noticed weird changes or my computer will be on even though I know I turned it off. I’m concerned about several things: 1 she’s stealing my ideas 2 stealing my financial data 3 compromising my security.

I’ve placed a password on my computer but nothing seems to stop her. I’ve started hiding my computer.

I’d like to put a key logger or key stroke logger on my pc to see if she’s really doing this. I know I sound paranoid but something is going on. I’d like something that won’t be picked up by the virus protector and something that will capture user names & passwords, chat logs, files looked at & web pages..

If I catch her in the act I can do something about it. Any programs out there? If it’s free that’s even better!
How do I use encryption?

My roommate left for the weekend and locked her door. Her alarm clock has been going off for over an hour now and it’s driving me insane. She said that it will stop "eventually" but really, it’s been over an hour! I’ve only been living here for a couple weeks so I don’t know which switches in the fusebox correspond to which room, and I don’t want to mess anything up as I’m home alone this weekend. Any tips?? Her door was locked with a key, and it doesn’t look easy to pick. Do alarm clocks stop after say, 2 hours???

I have evidence that my roommate used my debit card at a gas station while I was asleep. Since it was a debit transaction, there was no signature required. Will they allow me to view security tapes by my situation alone? Or would I have to hold some kind of legal power (i.e. police, judge help, etc.)?

My roommate's alarm is going off right now and it's dead noisy, but I think she woke up way earlier before the alarm went off and is already out for work. I have no way of going into her room. Does alarm usually stop ringing after a while even though nobody turns it off? Or is it gonna keep on ringing til she comes home and turn it off? Now it's ringing for over 5 minutes.
I'm reading all of you guys' answers. It's been 15 minutes now and she doesn't pick up my call!! I hope it stops….I hope it stops very soon…
