Every time I system update NHL 10 on my PS3 about every 3-4 months, which I must do in order to log in to EA Sports and use the Online Mode, it deletes all the created teams, created players and whatever custom rosters I have made up. How can I update whatever needs updating without it deleting everything? Does the backup data setting work? Can I load everything onto a thumb drive? Any help would be awesome!
I’m bad about backups although I’ve been burned before. Do you backup the whole drive? What the best way to do incremental backups? Do you use the archive bit? If not, why? Which software do you use? Can any CD burning software project automatically know if files in the source directory are new and include that in the next burn? Any software that can let you use a thumb drive until you have enough data to warrant a CD and then repeat? Are there any programs that can track changes across the whole hard drive from bootup to shutdown and then prompt you asking which new files are important and should be included in the next backup?
How big is the backup data file for the PS3. Is it something I can put on a thumb drive or do I need an external HD to store it while I swap drives?
I added my password to my sandisk U3 thumb drive for the first time the other night…like a dumb**…i forgot it…late at night. Is there any possible way to get around my password or save the data?
i NEED the data on there….it's absolutely invaluable to me. i don't care about the drive itself, i can pay for a new one…….
What is the best (and free) security software to put password on your external hard drive or folder (USB hard disk, thumb drive, etc) when we want to access the data in it?
I prefer a portable type of software since I will use it on many other computers and I don't have to install it many times.
I want to make sure that my data is secure if my external drive is being stolen. My thumb drive used to be stolen, but there's nothing much in it.
Please provide me some source for downloads.
