1. stop av.exe processor under task manager
2. delete C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Loca\av.exe
3. delete C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Local Setting\Application Data\av.exe
4. delete HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe (default) –>There’s 2 file. One is good and the other is bad. The bad one is (Secfile).
I got all of these information by running malwarebytes, however before taking any action, I go into my folders and I did not find any of these files. Sometimes I wonder if Malwarebytes is the start of this scandel. I installed it for remove some trojan and then deleted it and install avast. A few weeks later, I got 2010 vista security popping up. So I have to reinstall malwarebytes and malwarebytes detects the malwares and deleted it. Then I deleted the malwarebytes again, a couple days later I got the 2010 pop ups again. So I have to reinstall the Malwarebytes again. This time after malwarebytes scan everything, I want to see for myself if those files actually exit. Went into the directory and I can not find any of those files. It is like you actually need Malwarebytes to do the work. I used spybot the first time I have 2010 pop up and spybot did not find any 2010 vista security threat, instead it only found some xupiter spyware. After spybot found xupiter and not 2010 vista security thread, I have to run malware b/c I still have 2010 popping up, of course, malewarebytes found the files to 2010 vista security. So with that say, what’s your point of view on this?
basically security tool virus thing got downloaded and it messed up my whole computer cant go onto sites without pop ups blocks and my computer screen is all black i have tried to download stuff to stop it i just cant succeed while doing it help please.
personal security anti-virus popped up, scared me to death, I apparently installed but did not purchase. I researched it on my iphone and found it was a scam. Wish I would have done that before installing it. Now I get pop-ups and blocked sites galore. I hate these jerks!
I’m in the process of removing it but I really need to go to the rest room. Is it save to leave it? So far it hasn’t really done anything except giving me pop ups about how I have a virus, disabline my search engine result links, and possibly made it so I can’t acess a security program.
I keep getting pop ups that say that there are all kinds of trojans, and viruses attacking my computer. when i scan my system with mcafee there is nothing to be found. when i click the button from the popup to "fix" my system, i am immediately given the opportunity to buy a new computer security system from something called Internet Security 2010
My power tends to go out for just a second during bad weather. I’d like a UPS to keep my DVR and router on during those brief outages, since they take several minutes to reboot. Doesn’t seem like I’d need a lot of capacity for that, and I want to avoid a UPS that generates a lot of heat or noise. The ability to disable the alarm is a big plus.
I hav dis guy in our office who has d thrill of stealin other peoples information (incl credit card) from d server. Very diplomatically & without his knowledge I wan 2 corrupt MS Office files (mainly word, excel & powerpoint) currently in his system, doing which, he wil be forced 2 lose all his data. Dis is a very serious issue & by informing d higher ups, I guess he wil lose his job. & I do not like som1 losing his job, d cause bein an unstable mind. I hav told him politely on many occassions & even tried 2 find out d reason behind his behaviour, but he turns d deaf ear. So I want to make sure dat he gets d message indirectly in advance & dis time wit a bang. I only see dat corrupting his files wil throw him off gear & thereafter stop chasing other peoples personal information dat cud be important 2 them. I have already blocked and protected future intrusion using server rights & password protection. Can I achieve dis by simply deletin 1 or 2 .dll files or suggest any other method?
My symantec antivirus security is out of date and i try to use live update and it says that it can’t establish a connection even though my internet is working fine. Worse part is that I think I have some spyware or malware because my computer is running very slow and random pop-ups occur a lot without me even being on a page with pop ups. Please help!!!

I run Norton Security to get rid of the pop ups but that doesn’t even work! I don’t want to start everything over again because I have important data. Some people have a software where they put the disc in and they remove the viruses , spammings, and pop ups and the computer goes back to normal. What is that software called? HOw can i remove viruses and pop ups without restarting my computer all over again? thank you.
I have yahoo toolbar that comes up with pop ups blocker and norton security.
I am planning on setting up a wireless video camera network to send an e-mail notification when motion is detected in the area. The camera does not support POE and has to have a 5v DC input for power. I can set up a UPS but I don’t want the ups to go dead and have no power to my camera and not have video surveillance during that time period. Is there a UPS that can hook up to a network and send an e-mail notifying me that power has gone out?
I got a typed letter on plain white paper saying I won money from some lottery drawing pool with a real check inside for ,350.00. I called the # on the letter. They told me the check was real when I spoke to them and to deposit it in my bank. The guy who asked for my ref # on the letter he had a very thick accent & I could barely understand him but from what I got from him I’m suppose to deposit this check in my bank account and they will take ,250.00 out of the amount for government surcharges. Then he said something about them sending the remainder prize money to me that I won which is ,650.00 & that amount will be delivered to me within 48 hours by ups or fedex. I told him I wasn’t interested & he said OK and quickly hung up on me. I think this is a scam. It seems fishy even though the check is real. Anyone ever get this and actually do it and get $? It says they are registered under the data protection act but I ‘m very suspicious that this is a scam.
I already tried to scan my computer, i scanned it in safe mode and no viruses were found. I continue to get pop ups and my computer is still slow.
I think the virus is command.exe b/c i remember it popped up and went away. Just a few minutes ago i was looking through my files and i found a note (like from notepad) named DatRemover. here is a sample of what is contained:
Deleting dat files:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Verizon\Verizon Internet Security Suite\Spyware.dat
Deleting dat files:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Verizon\Verizon Internet Security Suite\Virus.dat
Deleting dat files:
Deleting key files:
Now im thinking that this is what’s keeping my virus scanner from finding this virus. it’s freaking deleting everything lol. Somebody help me please
I did a full virus and spyware scan. the virus is still there. or is it something else like malware and other things? can zonealam virus and spyware scan detect any kind of threats and infections? the virus or whatever it is keeps showing pop ups about a free virus scan and also inside of the windows there are those small pop ups when you have click on "x" or "close" to close it.
is there any solution?
Cox high speed internet security suite keeps telling me that there is a suspected file or something, and I just want to know how to do a complete scan of all files on the computer.
Can you also tell me how to stop pop-ups on mozilla firefox. It never used to happen before. I would really appreciate it.
I’m looking for a way to get webcams or the like and use them for home security purposes.
I figure that I could get a computer that has several usb ports or equivalent and it would be dedicated just for that purpose. I would use a broadband connection to stream images off-site (not all the time), have a UPS (10-15 minute duration). I’m thinking of 4-6 cameras being managed by 1 software package.
I’d like the cameras mid-range - a ccd or low light camera probably isn’t needed, unless that would be the preferred tool for the job.
So basically, I’m looking for the computer, software, cameras and UPS. I don’t need comments on home networking or bandwidth. Computer size isn’t an issue, it will be tucked out of the way and not moved (racked, probably). Operating system isn’t all that important (unix would be preferred but not necessary) The cameras can be either fixed or movable - I haven’t really figured out how I want to lay them out yet.
Suggestions?
I have Avast antivirus, and Microsoft Defender programs on my computer, and neither can find it. I downloaded SpyOnThis, but I don’t have the thirty dollars to register it, and that’s the only way it will delete the suspicious files. How do I get rid of this?
I tried to remove it from programs, but could not find it in the registry.
Avast wasn’t finding any problems, it gave me clean bill. But I knew something was wrong, because of the pop ups and the stupid tool bar that kept blinking.
when starting the computer, a message from zone alarm will appear to buy the internet security suite. how to disable this annoying pop ups when there is no disable button?
I DONT view porn/adult sites on the internet, nor does anyone from my family. However, I sometimes get from friends/relations, some pictures of family members (no sexual content), nature, e greetings, etc.
Now I find that I suddenly get warning pop ups which say that there is a security danger as I have visited some adult/porn sites, etc. and offers free scan. This free scan is mostly from 'Ultimate Defender', and lists a large no. of dangerous items affecting my computer. Of course they ask for a fee to download their scan program.
This sudden pop up creates serious misunderstandings within the family as we all use only one computer that runs on XP.
I scan my computer daily twice with Windows Defender, Spybot Search and Destroy, and Ad-aware SE. I remove any objectionable spyware/malware/trojan etc. they recommend.
Is there anyway I can get rid of this notice from Ultimate Defender? Is their scan/notice genuine?
Only genuine experts reply, please. Thanks.
