What is a good security sytem for your computer?
Right now I have McAfee and somehow I am still getting spyware.

AVG, Zone Alarm and Defender or Spyware Terminator are good.
Spybot search and destroy
AVG free anti virus, spyware blaster, ad-aware se, spybot search and destroy, ccleaner, PC tools personal firewall, i have all of these and have had no problams with any of them, their all free at the link below,Good luck oh and McAfee SiteAdvisor free is a must for crusing the net, points out bad sites.

I prefer using F-Secure firewall and virus protection. We very rarely get anything harmful on the computer and the few times we have it was quickly quarantined.
Now, if you go to the wrong site and intentionally click on something or download attachments without verifying first, well, no software can protect you from yourself. But for a top notch firewall and virus protection you will find it hard to beat F-Secure which it typically rated above Norton and McAfee, if I am not mistaken.

Zone Alarm is the best, protects you from all the bad things in life, well almost. Never got spyare, virus, trojans, or anything else for the 2 yrs I had it. =)

There is no spyware protector system which can give you 100% security. If you configure the IE and protect the Active X controls properly, you do not need spyware and you are safe. Mcfee is good for Virus. also Use Windows Defender which will notify when some spyware is trying to enter and u can decide whether it is spyware or not.
