What's the best car alarm?
I would like to install an alarm for my car. I want to get one that does not make the chirp sound when you activate it. It will only sound if it is tampered with. Any suggestions?

Hey.. The best alarm cars are defenetly: Astra 777+ {$92.99} / Galaxy 5000RS-2W-1FM {$129.99} and Astra 777 {$69.99}.. They do help scare the thief away, from a vehicle, that’s one of the purposes of them, still though you are right, most people do ignore them or think of them as a problem, rather than a solution, it will stop thieves in most cases, but unless someone actually looks to see whats going on the thief can get away with a lot of your personal stuff, sometimes the car its self.. Their still worth having though, the newer one do disable the ignition, and that will save the car from being stolen, good luck on it.. Hope I helped :).

Honestly, you can go to most car electronics stores and pick one out that’ll suit you. The "chirp" can be deactivated so that you can arm/disarm the alarm silently. Also, most alarms can be set to have the lights flash when you arm/disarm the alarm so that you can have a visual sign that lets you know you’ve armed & disarmed the alarm. This can come in handy if you don’t want to deal with the "chirp" but ensure to yourself that you armed/disarmed the alarm.
