Will my car alarm go off if they use a shaved key to break in?
I have a ‘97 Honda Accord and I just had a Viper Alarm put on it.The alarm I got has a screen that will show me what’s happening if the alarm is going off but it’s kind of pointless if it won’t go off if they use a shaved key right?

but if the alarm is still active it should still sound because it was not deactivated
viper alarms depending on which one you get will deactivate during keyturn unlock. although if the key isnt shaved perfect to catch all the "pins" inside it will go off.
If the thieves are professionals then yes they can use shaved keys to get your vehicle……..
